WELCOME 2010!
This wiLL be my first piece for the year 2010 and as em typing away, I am not so sure if it wiLL be deserving of it's post. I am praying, however that it won't be the Last, considering the fact that writer's block has been my constant companion LateLy though I've been trying to convince myseLf that I stiLL got the "it" for writing.
I have accompLished, not much but enough from the year that has gone by. I had things going the way I want them to be, but the bitter-heartbreaking fact stiLL remains that I have done things that I am not so proud of. No, not one bit.
2009 has been a whirLwind of everything for me, I have experienced pain, that not every girL can endure, and utter happiness that have kept me up for so many nights. I have been afraid of things that made me sick to my stomach, en I shed tears enough to keep my eyes dry.
I Loved. I Loved more than one shouLd, en I don't regret it en I never wiLL. But if there is something that I regret, it's the thing I did for Love, what I Lost, for Love.
At the end of the day, I know that I cannot go back to retrieve what I Lost, but I'm sure as heLL that I won't compromise anything to go through it again. In a way, I feeL Like I have grown up a coupLe of years more my age because of it.
And yes, I have aLso Learned that sometimes you have to cross the Line, to know what it's Like beyond the Line. Now I know that we do not die each time we cross the Line, but we just become free from aLL this worLd's ignorance, of not knowing what is on the other side. :))
May this year be more kinder. But what the heLL, bring it on, 2010!
